"World Skills" on the competence of "Medical and social care"
On 26.27 and 28 February, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the WorldSkills Championship in Medical and Social Care was held within the walls of Aktobe Higher Medical College named after the hero of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova. The championship was attended by students of 2 and 3 courses, experts, volunteers, extras. The contestants performed tasks in 6 modules, demonstrated their practical skills and abilities. WorldSkills is an international non-profit movement whose goal is to increase the prestige of working professions and the development of skills. The main objectives of the championship are to identify the world’s best practices in vocational training for youth and their introduction into the system of technical and vocational education. According to the results of the championship, Dostanova Inkar, a student of the 3rd year of the department “Nursing” became the winner of the first place Contestants who take 1,2 and 3 places will later become participants in the regional stage, and may receive trips to the Republican and World Championships World Skills.
